DATE OF INCIDENT:  2/25/2023

DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:

During takeoff the airplane started to slide to the left on the ice and snow covered runway. The take off was

aborted. During the abort, the airplane kept pulling to the left and impacted the terrain between the runway

and taxiway. Upon impact, the airplane nosed over.

REMARKS:

Logbooks - We digitize ALL logbooks available, if it's not digitized then it's not available unless otherwise noted.

Times are per last logbook entries about a week before the accident

Wings have been removed

Engine:

** New Engine installed 9/2008. Wasn't used until 4/3/2012 when it was inspected due to sitting inactive since

11/6/2008.

** Engine Logs track time correctly until 10/4/18, on 3/29/2019 the logs change TTSN to 8,457.3 hours (same as

aircraft).  From this point forward the total time for the engine tracks with the aircraft and the TSMOH is listed,

however it should be TSN.

** New tach installed on 10/7/2020, old tach taken out at 4,183.0. This puts the engine at TSN at 3,848.8.

** Tach as of 2/17/2023 was 1,545.7, which should put engine TSN 5,394.5 hrs.

** No records indicating engine has been overhauled.

Propeller

** installed on 8/20/2021 from another aircraft. No records of TT.
