Description

NOTE: This aircraft was involved in the below accident on June 15,2021 and then while sitting outside overnight was flipped over in a wind storm.  See Photos

DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT:  "According to the pilot's statement, he said after crossing the threshold, he applied too much back pressure and floated down the runway. The crosswind blew him to the right side of the runway. At that point, the aircraft then began to oscillate on the runway and student pilot overcorrected and the aircraft went off the runway onto the grass. The aircraft went down a small hill on the side of the runway and ended up inverted off the edge of the runway.

At some point during this incident sequence, the nose gear was torn from the aircraft."
