  DATE OF INCIDENT:  7/25/2021

  DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:

  During a normal landing pilot was  about to lower the tailwheel, the airplane veered to the right. Pilot attempted to

  correct with left rudder control, but the airplane ground looped.  May have been a wind gust that caught the aircraft.

  DESRIPTION OF DAMAGE:

  Damage to the left wing and lift strut. The pilot reported that there were no pre-accident mechanical failures or

  malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operations.

  REMARKS:

  7/1996 - Installed Aero Fabricators Shoulder Harness and Seat Belt assembly. 

  7/1990 - Unleaded Automotive Gas, 87 minimum antiknock and leaded automotive gas, 88 minimum antiknock. 

  Intermixing with aviation gas also approved.   See "Major Repair and Alteration" or "STC"  in binder.
